Rumleigh - Brewarrina, NSW
Situated five kilometres south of Brewarrina, Rumleigh comprises a total area of 2,265 hectares of which 1,257 hectares is developed for flood irrigation.
Whilst predominately used to grow cotton, Rumleigh has successfully produced a range of crops in recent years including wheat and maize. Soils are primarily grey/black clays.
Fronting the Barwon River, Rumleigh has approximately 6,000 Ml of water licences and an estimated storage capacity of 9,600 Ml in four cells. Average rainfall is 360 mm per annum.
